Joseph Havel Once Again....

Once again, Joseph Havel's generosity  continues to support the Dallas Contemporary.
After his amazing site-specific installation in the spring, Havel has  donated several label pieces to support the Dallas Contemporary and its future endeavors.
There are 2 label pieces available.  Each piece has approximately 2,000 labels.  Here is a recent installation shot of the work in a corporate collection:

The piece measures 40 1/2 x 90 1/2 inches (50 rows of 40). Because of its mobility and unique versatility, the owner can play a role in its final presentation. One can create a vertical or horizontal square, depending on preference or, size of space available.

Havel invites the spectator to read the small embroidered text (titled forget), and asks the viewer to question the material/medium used to create the work (men's shirt labels designed by Havel).

Again, please support the Dallas Contemporary and consider this artwork as an addition to your private/corporate collection!
