A NEW SPACE

Hello all!

Sorry it has been awhile since my last blog post. I’ve been busy turning this:

My new HOME office has finally been completed. I am thrilled with the finished outcome, even if there is no more room for Charlotte on the bookshelf! Today, I weeded through boxes to dust off the covers of some of my books. Putting books, artwork, and objects on the shelves really gave my new office the final touch it needed. 

I was set on installing a sliding screen over the bookshelf, but I am so pleased with how well everything defines the space that I decided to leave it open. I also intended to install Head Honch by Mel Bochner, but a good friend/client twisted my arm to let her purchase it for her new office: 

Having an additional office at home (yes, I still have my office on McKinney)

affords me the luxury of having more time with my family and being available for the ever so daunting carpool hour. Plus,I will have more time with this guy:
