We Are All Homeless is a project that began in 1993 when Willie Baronet began buying and collecting homeless signs as a way to deal with his discomfort at seeing people on street corners asking for help. In his 2012 TEDx Talk about the project, he spoke of his desire to take a "sign-buying trip" across the United States.

That trip took place in July of 2014, from Seattle to San Diego to New York - 24 cities, 31 days, 7620 miles, over 280 signs. This exhibition is the first installation of those signs.

A film crew traveled with Baronet across the country and are putting together a documentary titled Signs of Humanity.

Maria Cuomo Cole, chairman of HELP USA, is helping to produce a national tour of the exhibit in an effort to create awareness about the alarming rise of homelessness:

The homeless often lose their identity and dignity, living on the streets of America's busy cities. Artist Willie Baronet's We Are All Homeless project (which will be featured in the upcoming documentary Signs of Humanity) reminds us that men and women in the most challenging circumstances have names, families, stories and dreams.
