Installations from The Armory Show, DAG and DAF

I thought I would share with you several installation shots with some of the work found and purchased from The Armory ShowDallas Auction Gallery and the Dallas Art Fair.  Above, the beautiful magnolia painting by David Bates has found its home in the collector's entryway.  The Bertoia Bird Chair's pattern and color is a nice compliment to the new installation.

In the same entry, a set of Paul Villinsky's Colbalt blue butterflies also compliment the powder blue background of the Bates and well as the bold coloration of Mel Bochner's, Money.

Sometimes it is difficult for a collector to make a decision, so my very dedicated assistants' strength is put to the test....but moments later Mel Bochner's, Blah, Blah, Blah found its home.

Decisions, decisions.......this beautiful Larry Poons painting was a nail-bitting install.  The top of the mantle is close to 8 feet........2 ladders and lots of patience was involved with this installation.  I have no question the installers are NOT afraid of heights!

Closer to sea level, we are still deciding the best spot for the amazing Emily Eveleth painting on Mylar.

My daughter decided to create a site-specific sculpture at her grandparent's home.....I am thinking it will be a temporary install!!
