Nic Nicosia - The Hoffman Tower Project 2015

Lisa Brown Consulting and Nic Nicosia are excited to announce a site-specific installation at the Hoffman Tower Room.

With the installation at the Hoffman Tower Room, Nic has presented photographs, drawings, sculpture, and a site-specific wall drawing.

The wall drawing, 2190 #5, was conceived and realized specifically for this space. The number, 2190, represents a very personal and meaningful amount of time for Nic. Seeing that number physically realized was the reason for the making of this drawing.

The figures and framed drawing, 2190 #3, originally existed as props for the photo works, yet now stand alone as sculptural objects.

The paper clay and cast figures represent an emotional state and acted as characters within the photographs.

The photographs represent three separate bodies of work. in the absence of others, 2010-2011, stories, 2013, and about may-august 2014.

Nic's work is rooted in emotion and personal experiences and he prefers to let the audience use their own life stories and experiences to define what they see.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO MARGUERITE HOFFMAN FOR ALL OF HER SUPPORT WITH THIS AMAZING INSTALLATION!
